Highstreet bridal: the options that don’t cost the earth

As H&M becomes the most recent high street brand to launch a bridal collection, wedding dress options for Brides in 2018 have never been more plentiful. I am a huge fan of the ASOS collection, for Brides, Bridesmaids and Wedding Guest outfits and had it been more of an option when I was getting married I may have even considered one of their dresses - or perhaps an evening gown. But for those Brides on a budget, or Brides thinking of having a more low key affair perhaps, high street Bridal may be the answer to your prayers.

I recently went to an event in Debenhams Milton Keynes and was surprised to find out that they also actually had a fully fledged Bridal section. But this part of Debenhams also came with a personal shopping experience, complete with Prosecco. Well, who would have thought it!

And have you seen some of the Debenhams dresses? They are stunning, and all cost less than £600. They also stock a variety of different designers including Savannah Miller and Ben de Lisi, whos dresses are timeless and stunning. I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the quality and detail on some of the dresses, which were all classic but bang on trend. It will also be interesting to see which of them will be flying off the shelf once Meghan Markle’s style of dress is revealed in May, as I spied a few that I think will be very similar to the shape I imagine for her.

Here are some of my absolute favourites from the current collection.

Debenhams also has a variety of shoes and other Bridal accessories that you can choose from to add a bit of sparkle to your outfit. And don’t forget your Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride/Groom as they can also join in the personal shopping experience at the same time and try on some of the other options Debenhams has for evening gowns.

Good luck finding your perfect gown ladies.
