Bardots behaving badly

Posted In: Lifestyle

So I had so much fun taking these shots with Sophie etc – we literally could not stop laughing when my outfit would not behave and just kept blowing up and flashing my very unflattering bra to the neighbours.

I purchased this top in a bit of a haul from ASOS, and in typical ASOS fashion I never expected to like everything and I did. So even though my wardrobe was fuller, my bank balance was a lot lighter. Anyway, a girl’s gotta treat herself.

I love the bardot look, it’s super flattering and can be teamed up with smart trousers for an office look or dressed down with this denim skirt for a more casual summer look. And with the sun beaming as it has been lately who wouldn’t want to be out in the sun in a Hawaiian style top!

The top is from Bershka on ASOS and the skirt is from good ol’ Primark! This was actually a massive bargain at only £5!! It is pretty difficult to get over your bum, but once it is on it’s actually really comfortable. I wasn’t always a huge fan of denim skirts as I feel a bit like I have been transported back to the 90’s – but the pencil shape of this one was pretty flattering.

This was also the perfect opportunity for me to showcase my beautiful pebbled putty classic Bayswater. I had been desperate for a Mulberry for years so when my Husband bought me one as a wedding gift I was ecstatic. I love it because it is such a versatile colour and it’s big. I love big bags, I love filling them with junk – oops. But no on a serious note, this one is a pretty perfect size. I use it for work every day and it’s the perfect size for all the essential plus a laptop and notepad. I am so tempted to expand my Mulberry collection and go for a Lily but I may have to wait a while for that one – maybe my anniversary…
